TheAcer Aspire One 110 and 150 are two models that can have BIOS-related problems that prevent the computer from booting. Safe Mode and System Restore can fix startup issues in an Acer Aspire One, but if the computer won't even load the boot screen, the problem could be related to the basic input/output system (BIOS).
1 Plug in USB drive, start/restart you computer. As soon as Acer logo appears, press F2 (or DEL) key immediately and repeatedly until get into BIOS. 2) From the BIOS, use right arrow key (→) to move to Boot menu. Press the arrow keys (↓↑) to select USB HDD, and press F6 to move it to the top of the list.

Unplugthe AC power adapter. 3. Search for a pinhole on the backside of your laptop, insert a small paperclip in the battery reset pinhole, press and hold it down for 25 seconds. Then release the paperclip and try to turn on the unit and check.
