Mr. Jack first established his Distillery here back in 1866. And so, a century and a half later, Lynchburg, Tennessee is the only place in all the world where Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey is made. There are other places and other ways to make Whiskey. But only one place and only one way to make Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey.
Personally, I think that Jack Daniel's No. 7 is a decent whiskey. I can pick up a distinct spicy note from the palate but it's nothing big or complex. It also doesn't tear a hole in my wallet so for the price it's probably one of my go-to's. All in all, one of my favorites because of it's unique flavour and decent price.
It has a fair amount of peanut-y flavors to go along with vanilla and caramel. Woodford- really solid bourbon, that hits all of the classic notes of vanilla, brown sugar, some oak. Probably the “smoothest” of the three. JDSiB- A good bourbon, but it drinks pretty hot for 90ish proof.

Jack Daniel’s also comes at 40 percent ABV, (80 proof) Jameson is as smooth as silk, thanks to its triple distillation, just like vodka. The best way to enjoy it is by taking it neat or on ice. Jack Daniel’s work best when used as a mixer, though a few people enjoy taking it neat or on ice.
